Image by Getty Images via DaylifeWrap your cheese in grease proof paper and then place it in an airtight container to keep it fresh longer. Greaseproof paper seems to do a better job than either plastic wrap or aluminium foil when it comes to keeping cheese fresh.
This site is a list of tips to save money. Most of them relate to ways to spend less but some are small tips for making a few extra dollars here and there. They are ALL tips that I have personally used. Rather than a list of tips that should theoretically save you money, I wanted a record of what I personally use.
My intention with this site is to build a comprehensive list of tried and tested tips that can be searched by category. When I was learning to be frugal, I found the number of tips and suggestions available to be somewhat overwhelming. Focusing on one area of our budget at a time really helped me not to get overwhelmed.
It is also my plan to list the tips in a quick and simple format, rather than going into detail. If you have any questions or would like to add your own experiences, feel free to leave a comment on the relevant tip.
